1. Our commitment

SPRK Building Materials Trading L.L.C ("SPRK", "we", "us") respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects visitors to this website to do the same. This policy explains how we respond to claims that content on sprkuae.com infringes someone's copyright, in line with the notice-and-takedown approach of the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and the corresponding protection of copyrighted works under UAE Federal Law No. 38 of 2021 on Copyright and Neighbouring Rights.

We are a UAE-registered trading company; we follow the DMCA notice format voluntarily because it is the process our hosting provider, search engines and most rights holders already use and recognise, which makes a genuine claim faster for everyone to resolve.

2. What this covers

This policy covers photographs, product imagery, written copy, logos and other original material published on sprkuae.com. Product photography sourced from or supplied by manufacturers and brand partners remains the property of its respective owner and is used with the rights we understand we hold; if that understanding is wrong in a specific case, tell us and we will investigate promptly.

If you believe material on this website infringes a copyright you own or control, send a written notice to our designated contact below. To be actionable, your notice should include:

• A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or someone authorised to act on their behalf.

5. What happens after a valid notice

On receiving a notice that reasonably meets the elements above, we will review it and, where appropriate, remove or disable access to the identified material without unnecessary delay, and make a reasonable effort to notify whoever was responsible for posting it.

6. Counter-notification

If material you posted or supplied was removed and you believe this was a mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to the same contact above. A counter-notice should include:

• Your physical or electronic signature.
• Identification of the material that was removed and where it appeared before removal.
• A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
• Your name, address and telephone number, and a statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the courts where you are located (or, if outside the UAE, agreeing to accept service of process from the person who filed the original notice).

Where a valid counter-notice is received, we may restore the material after a reasonable period unless the original claimant informs us that legal action has been filed.

7. Repeat infringers

Where third parties are permitted to submit content to us (for example a testimonial, review or project photo), we will remove access for anyone found to be a repeat infringer of others' copyright through that channel.

8. False claims

Please consider carefully before filing a notice or counter-notice. Deliberately false statements can carry legal consequences, including liability for damages, under the DMCA and under applicable UAE law.
